STREET CHILD OF NEPAL(SCoN) is a charity based in the UK, established in 2008, that exists to ensure that all children are safe, in school and learning and has continued to grow into a dynamic charity, assisting some of the world’s most vulnerable children in Africa, Asia and Europe including Sierra Leone, Liberia, Nigeria, Uganda, Somalia, Afghanistan, Ukraine, Moldova and Nepal. By creating opportunities in education, economic empowerment and protection, Street Child has helped thousands of children lead a more positive life and opened future opportunities for them.
Street Child of Nepal (SCoN) works by assisting local organizations in restoring education in the most affected communities. Since then, SCoN has been continuously expanding its efforts to provide long-term educational opportunities for marginalized communities in Nepal.
SCoN Nepal invites sealed bids for the sale of the following used asset on an "as is where is” basis:

The following terms and conditions apply to the sale of the assets listed above:
- Potential buyers shall make an offer in written form, using the template Annexure I.pdf and submit it to the aforementioned address before the deadline.
- The bid documents in an electronic form or in an open form/loose envelope shall not be accepted.
- The offers received within the closing date/time will only be considered for the evaluation.
- The items on sale shall still remain the property of the SCoN Nepal until the proof of payment is presented.
- Payments should be deposited in the SCoN Nepal's bank account within 5 working days. Bank account details will be communicated later to the successful bidder.
- The equipment shall be handover from the SCoN office in Thasikhel, Lalitpur, in the condition of as it is. All costs of transportation of equipment shall be borne by the bidder.
- The bidding documents shall be opened on 31 August, 2026, 12:00 pm at SCoN office in Thasikhel, Lalitpur.
- The above listed assets can be inspected at the SCoN office in Thasikhel, Lalitpur from 25-26 August 2026 between 1 pm to 5 pm, with prior appointment.
- Submit sealed bids in the tender box available at SCoN partner office in Thasikhel, Lalitpur by 5 PM, 28 August 2026.
- Clearly mention the asset details on the sealed envelope.
- Late, unsealed, incomplete or unclear bids will be rejected.
- Bids will be opened on 31 August 2026 and evaluated by the Evaluation Committee of SCoN. During the examination, evaluation, and comparison process, the bidder offering highest bid will be declared the successful bidder.
- The successful bidder must deposit the full quoted amount in the SCoN Bank account within 5 working days.
- Failure to make payment within the stipulated time, SCoN may award the bid to the next highest bidder or restart the process.
- Bidders must fill in the required forms with details like name, address, contact, PAN/VAT or citizenship copy, bid amount, signature, and date as outlined in the prescribed template.
- Assets are sold “as is, where is” basis, SCoN will not hold any responsibility after handing over the asset. Bidders are advised to inspect carefully before bidding.
- SCoN Nepal reserves the right to accept or decline bids without providing any reason.
