Position Title: Area Coordinator

Location: Karnali Province and Western Lumbini

Who We Are

We are a Nepal-based NGO dedicated to uplifting and empowering underprivileged communities through impactful and sustainable interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all program activities in the assigned development areas or government-designated states.
• Supervise and coordinate activities including training, socio-economic development initiatives, distribution programs, and research.
• Travel regularly within the assigned region for supervision, coordination, and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Prepare annual plans and budgets for the assigned state under the supervision of the Regional Coordinator/Country Manager.
• Assist in conducting regular impact evaluations to ensure program effectiveness and relevance.
• Identify key needs within the state and initiate programs accordingly.
• Develop and strengthen networks with partner organizations, trainers, and local stakeholders.
• Organize and participate in seminars, meetings, and capacity-building activities.
• Support the Regional Coordinator/Country Manager in preparing activity and progress reports.
• Ensure representatives, trainers, volunteers, and support staff receive appropriate care and training.
• Collaborate with various departments for planning, research, and project implementation.

Qualifications & Experience

• College graduate ideally major in Social work.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant field experience.
• Strong knowledge of project management and community development.
• Understanding of Nepal contexts and community needs.
• Ability to design, implement, and evaluate development programs.
• Strong leadership, networking, and capacity-building skills.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to remote and hard-to-reach areas.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
