Job Summary

The Accountant at Bela Nepal Industries holds a crucial position with core responsibilities centered around the integrity and accuracy of the company’s financial information. This includes maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date financial records, and ensuring that all transactions are properly recorded, categorized, and reconciled. The role also involves the preparation of detailed financial statements and reports that provide a clear and accurate overview of the company’s financial performance, aiding in both routine operations and strategic planning. In addition, the Accountant oversees all taxation-related matters, such as the timely filing of VAT, TDS, and income tax returns, ensuring compliance with Nepalese tax laws and regulations.

The candidate in this role must stay informed about changing tax policies and financial regulations to avoid penalties and maximize tax efficiency. This includes enforcing financial controls, supporting audits, and implementing best practices in bookkeeping and reporting. Ultimately, the Accountant plays a vital role in the day-to-day financial management of Bela Nepal Industries and serves as a key contributor in delivering financial insights that support informed decision-making, cost control, and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals.

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Manage accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and reconciliations.

Monitor and report on cash flow, budgets, and expenditures.

Handle taxation processes including VAT, TDS, and income tax filings.

Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and government regulations.

Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audit processes.

Assist with financial forecasting and cost control initiatives.

Collaborate with internal departments to streamline financial procedures.

Support inventory and asset management with proper documentation.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws in Nepal.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

Good communication skills in both English and Nepali.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

License and vehicle is a plus point
