Recently RIMS Nepal is implementing WASH programme in Eight VDCs of Dhading districts with the support of CARE Nepal funded by DFID. To implement programme, RIMS Nepal is looking for experienced and qualified candidates for following positions with given requirements.

Position: Project Engineer

Location: Field Office

Minimum Required Qualification: Bachelor in Civil Engineering with 2 years’ experience or  Diploma in Civil Engineering with 7 years’ experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct detailed WASH needs assessment of current situation in collaboration with DWASH CC and VWASH CC and target population
  • Carry out technical survey, Design, estimate and prepare Bill of Quantity for the new, repair, rehabilitation and reconstruction of existing water systems.
  • Monitoring and quality assurance of construction work

Position: Junior Engineer 

No.: 2

Location: Field Office

Minimum Required Qualification: Diploma in Civil /sanitary Engineering with 2 years’ experience or Sub Overseer with 5 years’ experience in rural gravity water supply

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support to Construct Drinking water system as per given design and scheme.
  • Supervision and monitoring of gravity drinking water system

Position: Community Technician

No.: 6

Location: VDC Based

Minimum Required Qualification: Sub overseer with 1 year Experience on gravity water supply or Technician with 3 years experiences on plumbing and construction of gravity water supply

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise the construction the gravity water supply scheme
  • Support of plumbing work and construction work

Local Candidates will be given priority for the postion "Community Technician"
