In addition to covering regular political and social issues, it aims to bring unheard voices and issues through various media outlets to contribute in creating a just, inclusive and egalitarian society.

www.esamata.com, a product of Sambad Sanchaar Sahakaari (s3), is seeking application from young, dynamic, creative and competent candidate for the following position to support the team in their noble initiatives. 

Position: Finance and Marketing Officer

Main responsibilities:

• Maintenance of timely and accurate books of account;
• Ensuring that accounting systems are maintained in accordance with the rules and regulation of Government of Nepal (GoN), organizational policies and procedures;
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of monthly financial reports, bank reconciliations, monthly cash reconciliations, and cash flow statements;
• Knowledge on marketing of online news-products and skill on collecting advertisements for online news portalis an added advantage;
• Handle day-to-day administrative assignments;

Qualifications required:

• A university degree at minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a relevant subject;
• At least two years relevant working experience;
• Good computer skills MS Word, Excel, and other accounting software with Nepali typing skill and knowledge on graphic design is an added advantage;
• Strong networking, communication and inter-personal skills. Ability to work both efficiently and thoroughly, independently and in team;
• High personal integrity is required;
• Preference will be given to the candidate who is below 30 years of age with two-wheeler driving license.
