Disability Inclusion Facilitator -1

(Dhulikhel office based with extensive field travel)

Bachelor degree in social science, Health sciences or equivalent from a recognized university with minimum of 3 year’s relevant work experience, especially in disability and inclusion and inclusive livelihood.

• Technical expertise and work experience in disability programming in developing countries.
• Knowledge on challenges faced by persons with disabilities in Nepal, especially at rural communities while working in livelihood sector.
• Experience in evaluating the outcomes of disability inclusive program.
• Experience in application of the Human Rights Based Approach (HRBA) to development - Prior experience in training, facilitation and capacity building.
• Expertise and interest in rights of persons with disabilities.
• Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills.
• Fluency in both English and Nepali language.
• Willingness to travel at project field sites, ability to represent and interact independently with Government, Non-Government and private sectors and other stakeholders relevant to the programme.
• Result and target oriented with demonstrable working experience as a good team player.
• Preference will be given to the candidates with person with disability.
