Details / requirements:

GEYC Nepal a leading NGO working in the field of Community Development, especially in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Promotion (WASH) is seeking dynamic and result-oriented candidates for an INGO funded WASH, Agriculture, Food Security and Livelihood (AFSL) integrated project.  

Post: Community Facilitator

Duty Station: Bidur, Nuwakot and Field 

Job Type: Fixed term Contract

Salary: Negotiable

Required Qualification and skills

  • Passed Plus two level 
  • At least 3 years work experience in similar field
  • Skill on training, facilitation and group mobilization
  • Skill on motivation 
  • Skill on communication and reporting 

Responsibilities 

  • Conduct community level awareness activities on Public Health, WASH and AFSL 
  • Conduct field level training on WASH/AFSL
  • Use IEC BCC materials and conduct awareness and behavior change activities
  • Record keeping and report writing
  • Mobilize different group of the society
  • Conduct community level rapid survey, discussion and keep record
  • Communicate and reporting
