Are you a self-motivated innovative leader who is seeking to be a part of a dynamic and collaborative engineering team? If your answer is yes, look no further, Grepsr has the job for YOU! We are seeking a Senior PHP Developer to join our team in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Your job will be to
- Build large scale crawling platform to crawling millions of pages everyday
- Manage and improve our existing platform based on technologies such as PhantomJS, Apache STORM, NodeJS, Scrapy, Selenium and others.
- (Knowledge of technologies such as Apache STORM, NodeJS, Selenium etc are a plus, not required.)
- Work as part of a team to plan, design, and develop system architecture, product improvements and new features
- Take on a leadership role and guide others in the team.
- Be part of something big and push the cutting edge tools even further

Requirements
- 3+ years of Python experience.
- Knowledge of databases (SQL & NoSQL).
- Good knowledge of how the web (HTTP) works (extensive knowledge of GET, POST, HTTP Headers etc.)
- Experience with usage of third party APIs and web services.
- Proficiency in usage of regular expressions, XPath and CSS selectors.
- Knowledge of character encodings, javascript framework, NodeJS, Apache STORM, Selenium, Scrapy is a plus.
- Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent - more value give to experience
