Women Forum for Women in Nepal (WOFOWON), is a non-governmental organization working to ensure the labour and human rights of women and girls working in the informal and entertainment sectors (dance restaurants, duet restaurants, massage parlor, open and cabin restaurant) since the establishment in 2064 B.S. It is also the first organization to be established in the leadership and initiation of women working in the same sectors in Nepal.
The organization is seeking eligible, interested and passionate candidate in the position of Outreach Worker to effectively implement “The Lush project”, based in Kathmandu with willingness to think and work jointly with women and girls in this sector along and beyond the project boundaries to meet the organizational goals.
Outreach Worker -1
Academic and experience requirement:
- Minimum 1 years of experience having worked in the issues of women and girls working in the informal and entertainment sectors or worked from women/human right Prespective.
- Must be SLC passed
- Good in report writing and presentation skill (both English & Nepali)
- Basic computer skills
- Must be outgoing, able to connect with people and good at networking.
- Ability of acceptance and adjustment.
- Gender Sensitive.
- Passion towards social work and social service.
Salary: Negotiable
Priority will be given to women and girls having worked in the same sector. Female candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
