BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
  • IBI is searching for Nepali candidates to serve in various staff positions for an anticipated USAID public financial management project in Nepal. The project is anticipated to start in early 2016. A limited number of  candidates may be interviewed in person in Kathmandu, Nepal September 19-22, others will be interviewed by phone at a later date.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
 
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Specialist:
  • Help develop and support implementation of a project monitoring program, including developing indicators, conducting baseline and subsequent surveys, collect and analyze data and report on results.
  • Ensure that results and lessons from project activities are recorded, catalogued, and disseminated to stakeholders.
  • Support development and coordination of training programs, project workshops, and other learning activities.  
 
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Nepali citizenship, or Nepali residency with deep understanding of Nepal's government and culture.
  • Fluent in Nepali and in English
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, qualitative and quantitative research, or training
  • Minimum a Bachelor-level university degree, preferably an advanced degree.  
  • Experience working on M&E on a donor funded, and preferably USAID-funded project.
  • Experience collecting and analyzing data
  • Experience in developing training programs, workshops, knowledge portals or databases.
  • Experience working on donor-funded projects preferred
