Post Title: Internship
Duty Station: Kathmandu with frequent field visit
Supervisor’s Name: Capacity Development Specialist
Job Summary:
Intern will gain skills and experience and build own professional capacity during six months period (October 1, 2015 to March 31, 2016). The intern will be responsible to support center, region, district and health facilities to ensure a year round availability of health commodities at service delivery points. We hope it is a beneficial relationship for both parties. Duties might include any of the following responsibilities, as well as other, unlisted duties.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with building and maintaining relationships with both government and EDPs.
- Support health facilities and district in store management and commodities distribution.
- Assist with planning and organizing meetings , training and workshops.
- Conduct technical support visits to health facilities focusing problems such as store management, recording and reporting including HIV/AIDS.
- Participates in supervision and training with an openness to learning and receiving feedback.
- Monitor monthly web-based LMIS reporting from health facilities.
- Prepare and submit monthly report to Supervisor.
- Performs additional job-related duties and responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
Qualification:
- Graduate or have recently completed a graduate course or studying bachelor in any discipline.
- Have good analytical skills, good communication and computer skills.
- A women or member marginalized groups from concerned program districts.
