Finance Manager - Kathmandu

We were among the first INGOs on the ground and operational following the earthquake, providing medical treatment and essential supplies. Our technical staff on the ground now includes physicians, nurses, surgeons, as well as specialists in water, sanitation and hygiene, mental health and psycho-social support and nutrition.

Finance Manager - Kathmandu
The Finance Manager will be based in Kathmandu will provide support to International Medical Corps’ programs in Nepal.
Summary Duties & Responsibilities
• Preparation of budgets, budget notes and budget realignments in coordination with program staff
• Reconciliation of bank and cash accounts
• Review of expenses and coding to ensure they are charged to right budgets
• Prepare key of allocation in line with current funding
• Submission of reports to HQ and follow up for approvals
• Manage both internal and external audits
• Grant management
• Follow up with HQ on approval of agreements, MOUs and agreement signing and donor payment
• Prepare and review the financial reports
• Assessment of potential sub grantees and training of sub awardees
Education& Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business
• Chartered Accountant or other equivalent qualification
• At least 5 years’ experience with INGO
• Experience with accounting packages
