Details / requirements:
We are looking for a talented WordPress Developer with strong WooCommerce experience to join our team. You will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites, ensuring seamless integration of WooCommerce for eCommerce projects. This role requires a balance of front-end and back-end development skills, attention to detail, and a good understanding of modern web best practices.
● Develop and maintain WordPress websites with a strong focus on WooCommerce functionality.
● Customize themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
● Implement responsive, SEO-friendly, and performance-optimized designs.
● Integrate and configure payment gateways, shipping methods, and tax rules in WooCommerce.
● Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress, WooCommerce, themes, and plugins.
● Collaborate with designers and other developers to deliver high-quality projects.
● Perform regular website maintenance, security updates, and backups.
● Optimize website speed and performance using caching, code improvements, and CDN integration.
● Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
Requirements
● 3–5 years of professional WordPress development experience.
● Proven expertise with WooCommerce setup, customization, and optimization.
● Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
● Experience with WordPress theme development and custom plugin development
● Understanding of MySQL/PostgreSQL database structure and queries.
● Familiarity with REST API integrations.
● Experience with version control systems (Git preferred)
● Knowledge of website security best practices.
● Ability to debug and resolve technical issues efficiently.
● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
