Simultaneously, recognizing the potential in the capital's market, we opened another branch named Bagmati Gas Suppliers in Kathmandu. Bagmati Gas Suppliers quickly became a key player, providing gases to major Hydropower Projects such as Trishuli, Madhya Marsyangdi, Bhotekoshi, Chilime, and others. Moreover, we emerged as the primary supplier of Welding Equipment to various projects.

Over the years, our expertise in the gas industry grew exponentially, leading to the founding of Bagmati Commercial Pvt Ltd (BCPL) in August 2015. BCPL was established with the vision of becoming a comprehensive supplier, offering Welding Equipment, Tools & Tackles, Water Pumps, Safety Equipment, WASH construction materials, and other specialized items. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations and ensure the smooth flow of goods from receipt to dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they perform at their best.
• Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping of products.
• Ensure proper handling and accurate documentation of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Collaborate with other departments to plan and coordinate stock movements to meet supplies and customer demands.
• Monitor inventory levels regularly and implement effective inventory control strategies to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic physical inventories to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate with procurement and purchasing teams to replenish inventory as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to create a secure work environment.
• Conduct regular safety training sessions and enforce safety practices to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Adhere to all relevant legal requirements and industry standards.
• Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement in warehouse processes and develop strategies to enhance productivity and reduce errors.
• Implement new technologies and best practices to optimize warehouse operations.
• Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as inventory levels, order fulfillment, and shipping accuracy.
• Analyze data and trends to provide insights for making informed decisions and driving continuous improvement.

Candidate requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a warehouse supervisor or a similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and shipping/receiving procedures.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with employees, management, and vendors effectively.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and software for data analysis and reporting.
