SOSEC Nepal was established in 1997 as a non-profit service provider for the greater improvement of the socio-economic and cultural conditions of the backward people living in the rural communities of Nepal. The organization has been implementing various projects/programs with the cooperation and support of various agencies to improve the social, economic, and cultural status of the backward communities living in the rural communities of Karnali State and various districts of the Far West and Lumbini provinces. The organization has been conducting its activities based on the following Thematic Areas: (a) Against Inequality (Social Justice), (b) Resilient Livelihoods, (c) Safe and Save Life, (d) WASH and Nutrition, (e) Life skill & Inclusive Education, and (f) Children Prosperity. SOSEC Nepal has been adopting the policy of protection/security of women and children and zero tolerance against corruption.

SOSEC Nepal is implementing the various projects in partnership with different donor organization with focus on key areas such as disaster risk reduction, sustainable livelihoods, water, sanitation, nutrition, education and please apply through the link  https://ee.kobotoolbox.org/x/M6LqAdZW before June 17, 2026. 

Selections will be made on a rolling basis. A shortlist will be prepared daily based on the applications received, and the recruitment process will proceed accordingly. The selection process will continue until suitable candidates are identified.

1. Position: Program Manager - 1 Position (Female only)

Report to this position: Project Officers and Field Staff

Qualification: Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Development  Studies, Public Health, or a related field (preferred) a related field significant relevant experience may be considered

Benefit: Salary/ SSF/Festival Allowance

2. Position: Program Coordinator – 1 Person (Female only)

Contract Duration: Long-term position, Renewal on an annual basis

Direct reports to: Executive Director

Report to this position: Project Officers and Field Staff

Qualification: Master’s degree in social science or related field of development sector, with at least 4 years of work experience in project management and I/NGO; 

Bachelor’s degree in social science or related field of development sector, with at least 6 years of work experience in project management and I/NGO.

4. Position: Advocacy Reporting and Documentation Officer- 1 Person (Female Only)

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in social science or related field of development sector, with at least 3 years of work experience in project management and I/NGO; B.Sc. Environment will be considered an added advantage.

5. Position: MEAL Officer- 1 Person

Qualification: Minimum bachelor’s degree in any field related to MEAL with at least 3 years of work experience in Development Sector; Master’s Degree preferred.
