Hotel Description

Hotel Thrive is an upcoming hotel located in Dhobichaur, Kathmandu, just a 5 minute walk from tourist hub Thamel. At our hotel, we aim to ensure excellent service at all points of contact with customers and departments and therefore expect the same standard from our prospective team.

A. Junior Roles:

1. Junior Storekeeper

  • Requirement: Knowledge/experience of using hotel management software

2. Assistant Cook- 1

  • Education: BHM or equivalent
  • Experience:  2-3 Years

3. Receptionist / Front Officer-1

  • Education: BHM or equivalent
  • Experience: 2-3 Years

4. Waiter/ Waitress-1

  • Education: BHM
  • Experience: Preferable but not compulsory

5. Bartender-1

  • Education: BHM
  • 2-3 Years’ experience

6. Room Maid / Room Boy-1

  • Education: BHM
  • Experience: 2-3 Years

7. Bell Boy- 1

  • Experience: 1 Year

8. Dishwasher-1

B. Senior Roles:

1. Head Chef- 1

  • Education: BHM
  • Experience: 5 Years experience in Star rated hotel


  • Prepare Continental and other dishes, including Mis en Place, Storing, Ordering, briefing, and Portioning
  • Manage and maintaining budget & Costing
  • Ensure strict adherence to health, hygiene and safety standards
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
  • Manage kitchen staff and ensure maintenance of kitchen area
  • Assist in menu planning and development

2. Housekeeping Supervisor-1

  • Education: BHM
  • Experience: 2-3 Years

Housekeeping Supervisor Job Duties

  • Determining the number of employees needed to complete tasks within specific time frames
  • Coordinating with other staff members to ensure that cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Training new employees on proper techniques for various cleaning tasks such as dusting and vacuuming
  • Conducting periodic inspections of rooms to ensure that they are clean and orderly
  • Evaluating the quality of work performed by staff members and providing feedback where necessary
  • Ensuring that supplies are available for use by staff members in their work, such as soap, cleaning agents, and linens
  • Directing employees in their work, providing feedback, and addressing problems as they arise
  • Scheduling staff members’ work hours and communicating any changes to them
  • Maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and ordering replacements when needed

3. F & B Supervisor-1

  • Education: BHM or equivalent
  • Experience: 2-3 Years
