URGENT VACANCY NOTICE

Multi-Country Youth-Led Agribusiness Proposal
(Subject to proposal approval; only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.)

Madhesh Jagaran, together with consortium partners in multiple countries, is urgently seeking specialists for a youth-led agribusiness programme to be implemented in Madhesh Province. All appointments will be made only if the proposal is approved.

1. Senior Team Leader

Expertise & Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience engaging and empowering young people in agribusiness contexts

• Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary teams and high-quality programme delivery

• Strong skills in project management, stakeholder coordination, and donor reporting

2. Junior Team Member (Expert Pool)

Expertise & Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience supporting youth-focused agribusiness activities

• Experience in coordination, community outreach, and logistical support

• Excellent communication skills in English and relevant local languages

3. Curriculum & Content Development Expert

Expertise & Experience (3–5 years in one or more of the following)

• Designing agribusiness training curricula aligned with market needs and youth learning styles

• Instructional design for in-person and digital/blended learning modules

• Content writing and editorial work for manuals, toolkits, and e-learning resources

4. Agronomy & Production Expert

Expertise & Experience (3–5 years as one or more of the following)

• Technical training in crop production, post-harvest handling, value-addition, and sustainable practices

• Familiarity with agri-technology solutions (processing equipment, storage systems, quality control)

• Ability to tailor production practices to local agro-ecological conditions

5. Business & Entrepreneurship Support Expert

Expertise & Experience (3–5 years as one or more of the following)

• Advising youth on business planning, market analysis, and financial modelling for agribusiness ventures

• Training in accounting, budgeting, and accessing finance or grants

• Mentorship and coaching to support young agripreneurs in real-world enterprise challenges

6. Monitoring, Evaluation, Research & Learning (MERL) Expert

Expertise & Experience (3–5 years as one or more of the following)

• Designing and implementing MERL frameworks for agribusiness programmes

• Data collection, analysis, and reporting to guide adaptive management and measure youth impact

• Familiarity with donor-mandated results frameworks and evidence-based learning approaches
