Job Description

As a Training Coordinator, you can train teachers in ICT and students for some schools. We also have excellent Support and Content Partners working with us to help you.

Job Overview:

EduTech Nepal is seeking a motivated and skilled training coordinator to support our mission of empowering rural schools through technology. The training coordinator will be responsible for planning and conducting training sessions for schoolteachers to enhance their capacity in teaching computer skills and effectively integrating ICT into the school curriculum.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Design and deliver 3-day cluster training programs for teachers at schools where computer labs have been installed
• Train non-technical subject teachers (especially science teachers) to teach ICT from the government curriculum
• Provide hands-on training in basic computer operation, Microsoft Office tools, internet use, and educational software
• Monitor and evaluate teacher performance during training and provide constructive feedback
• Prepare training reports and maintain documentation for each session
• Assist in developing/updating training materials and manuals
• Coordinate with partner schools, municipalities, and the internal team to ensure smooth training delivery
• Support post-installation visits when needed to assess lab usage and provide on-site guidance
• Ensure alignment of training with EduTech Nepal’s vision of digital empowerment

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, ICT, Computer Science, or related field 
• At least 2 years of experience in computer training or teaching
• Strong understanding of basic hardware, software, and ICT tools used in schools
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills in both English and Nepali
• Ability to adapt teaching styles for teachers with varying digital literacy levels
• Willingness to travel to rural areas frequently and stay for training programs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for education and rural digital inclusion

Preferred:

• Familiarity with the Nepal Government ICT curriculum for basic education
• Experience working with NGOs or in training development programs
• Knowledge of learning management systems or online tools is a plus
