Job Description
🔹 Design & Conceptualization

Create layout plans, furniture detail drawings, ceiling and electrical drawings

Develop design concepts based on client needs and site conditions
-
Prepare 2D/3D visual presentations using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools
-
Assist in BOQ preparation and material estimation
🔹 Client Coordination
-
Understand client’s design intent, lifestyle, and budget
-
Present design concepts and get approvals
-
Handle revisions and change requests
-
Maintain consistent communication and site updates with clients
🔹 Site Supervision
-
Conduct regular site visits to check design execution
-
Coordinate with contractors, carpenters, electricians, and other teams
-
Ensure quality and design accuracy on-site

Solve on-site issues with practical design solutions
🔹 Material Selection & Procurement

Select finishes, materials, colors, lights, and furnishings
-
Visit showrooms/vendors to finalize samples
-
Maintain a material library
-
Liaise with procurement team for brand/quantity/spec approvals
🔹 Financial Coordination

Do basic rate analysis for design items
-
Work with estimation team to finalize project costing

Identify cost-saving alternatives in material or design without affecting quality
🔹 Project Handover

Final walkthrough with client post-completion

Prepare snag list and get final sign-off

Assist in creating handover documentation
Job Requirements
