Details / requirements:
ITONICS team is currently looking for a talented and highly motivated Software Test Engineer who can effectively work within a Scrum team to deliver high quality solutions.
As a Software Test Engineer you will be playing a technical role and will be responsible for the QA function within the Scrum team; which includes executing tests as well as lead/guide the team in testing out the functionality of the solutions that have been developed. As a part of the Scrum team, you will specialize in QA functions as well as be involved in the full development lifecycle of the solution, including detailed design, code development, code reviews, unit testing, build/test support and final deployment activities and post deployment support.

Job Description (Responsibilities)
- Quality assurance of the internal as well as offshore websites, software’s and mobile applications
- Creation and execution of automated/manual test plans, test cases and test scripts
- Contribute to continuing process improvement of quality assurance standards and procedures
- Document test results noting discrepancies between actual and expected results.
- Develop and manage to testing schedules in cooperation with the project manager of the effort.
- Conduct Code reviews and introduce/suggest best practices in UX/ UI and software development
- Communicating bugs to developers and other stakeholders
Qualifications
- A graduate in IT domain (B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc/BCA)
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience in Quality Assurance efforts
- Good communication skills
- Good analytical, logical and reasoning capability
- Experience in testing web applications
- Ability to lead & mentor a team
- Ability to write test plans and test cases
- Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables – ensures the ability to find the bad defects and bugs quickly
- Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Well versed in test report preparation, defect tracking & reporting
- Drupal/Wordpress knowledge is very welcome
