Software Engineer- Quality Control

Job Overview:

Software Engineer – Quality Control is a part of our QC team which is responsible for quality. 

control activities to ensure on time, high-quality product delivery. They are expected to collaborate with 

different stakeholders like architects, leads, developers and other QC team members to achieve the 

organizational goal while parallelly enhancing their own QC skill sets and domain knowledge. 

Responsibilities and Duties

• Analyze and understand Business, Functional Requirements and Technical Documents.
• Prepare Test Artifacts - Test plans and test cases based on specs and product knowledge.
• Execute test cases/test scripts on various levels like system test, Regression test, Smoke test.
• Review test cases and scripts prepared by peers.
• Report and track issues.
• Configure Orgs/Environment.
• Communicate and collaborate with QC team members, Dev team members, Product Managers, Clients.
• Draft different documents like Installation Manuals/User Manuals.
• Maintain current on all assigned internal CQ training as assigned in the CQ-QMS.
• Comply with all internal CQ Quality and Information Security requirements.

Qualifications

Education Level

• Degree in Computer Engineering or similar IT background or equivalent.

Experience

• 1+ year of experience in Software Test Engineering roles.

• Should understand software test methodologies, best practices, and terminology.

Certifications

• STLC Certification.
• AGILE and any other software related training certificates.
• SALESFORCE certification (added advantage)
