Software Engineer – Automation

Job Description

• Write automated test scripts using Robot Framework in Python & Selenium

• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test scripts.

• Understand the existing product.

• Perform through Regression test and prepare test reports and logs.

• Defect reporting and tracking

• Maintain test scripts using version control system, GIT.

• Create and maintain VM in Azure

• Continuous integration using Jenkins.

• Performance test using JMeter.

• Research and implement the automation process, strategy and best industry practices.

• Good knowledge on project management tools like Jira and Confluence

• Prepare testing environment and configuration.
• Communicating with the Clients and PMs

Job Specifications

• Must have sound knowledge of SDLC.

• Must have sound knowledge of Software testing.

• Motivation to learn and explore.

• Desire to expand skill sets.

• Good command in English. Should have the ability to understand the product requirements.

• The candidate should be very focused & committed to achieving goals.

• Should be a good team player.

• Should be ready to extend working hours to meet project deadlines.

• A keen eye for detail & a knack for identifying issues.

• Think as an end user to test the product.
• Should suggest ideas to improve the product.

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent degree in Computer related studies.
