Brief description of organization
Progress Inc. is a private company which specializes in research, monitoring and evaluations, assessments, capacity building and other data management for public, private and non-profit sectors in the social development sector. The organization works in various sectors including gender and inclusion, education, governance, livelihood, DRR, WASH, and more.
Social Media Intern
Working Hours: 10 AM – 5 PM (6 days a week)
3 months (A stipend of NPR 13,500 per month will be provided) with scope for longer term contract after successful performance evaluation
Oversee social media content on Facebook and Instagram
Create original content, scheduling and strategy
Work closely with research team to understand and develop content
Research and gain inspiration by reviewing our market and watch for emerging trends
Awareness raising and promotion of organization through social media channels
Review and monitor all content for proper branding guidelines
Update organizational website content with latest updates
Organize and label all digital images, videos and contents
Other as assigned by team members
Possess knowledge of content creation, content management, scheduling and content posting for social media.
Knowledge of latest popular social media channels and trends
Should have excellent English and Nepali writing skills
Should have excellent computer skills; word, excel, powerpoint, email, etc.
Candidates should know how to manage time and prioritize tasks
Knowledge of SEO, basic graphic designing, and canva is preferred
Knowledge of research, an advantage
