Social Marketers/Co-initiator

The Humanist Club Nepal/International, a non-profit and informal initiative is in the process of formalization.  It is currently engaged in building its preliminary grounds towards creating a solid foundation for the organisation it aims to become; and to serve humanity with its specialized services of Healing-Humanity through integrated humanist approach led campaigns and projects in the near future.

Currently we are looking for Social Marketers to conduct a short-term assignment and a Co-initiator to join as a member of core-team, get trained and lead the future course of action of the organisation.

This call is to hire /recruit the eligible individuals for the short- and long-term assignment as specified below.

A. Social Marketers

1.  # Social Marketers Required:

• 2 (1 male and 1 female)

2. Main Tasks: 

• Promoting important concept on humanity to students of Social Work in different colleges by conducting a brief introductory session (30 min) on Future Scope of Social Work (orientation will be provided to the selected social marketers).

3. Duration of assignment: 

• Approximately 10 days

4. Required Eligibility:

• Age: 28 (Plus)
• With ability to grasp and better explain the concepts
• Good at presentation & motivation
• Basic knowledge of MS Word and computer applications 
• Qualification: Completed or studying BA/MA in Social Work/Sociology/Anthropology/Journalism/Business or Marketing. 

B. Co-initiator:

1.  # Co-initiator Required:

• 1 (female)

2. Main Tasks: 

• Acquiring prescribed trainings to build self-capacity as a trained humanist to become able to undertake organization’s specified responsibilities as co-initiator, assisting lead initiator in co-managing and co-leading the organization’s annual events /programs, facilitate trainings for trainers, handle public relations, mobilize team, and take care of internal administration of the organisation.

3. Required Eligibility:

• Age: above 28 years 
• Qualification: Completed or studying BA/MA in Social Work/Sociology/Anthropology/Journalism/Business or Marketing. 
• Skills: Team player and willingness to lead, proficient in use of MS Word and computer applications and fluent in Nepali and English(fluency in other languages is an added advantage) 

4. Other features related to aptitude, attitude and level of understanding 

• Basic level of awareness about social construct, associated identity and quest for exploring reality beyond;
• Aspiring and willing to explore about truth related to self and others;
• See rationale in human equality, acknowledges, accepts and practices gender equality;
• Committed to protect and promote compassion for better humanity and peaceful co-existence;
• Able to grasp ideas of mindfulness and willingness to practice and live the experience when attained one;
• Willing to adventure, challenge oneself and face the challenge in the direction of exploring truth about self -existence and others;
• Independent, decisive and action oriented
