Shopify Developer/ Front End Developer

We’re seeking a highly skilled Shopify Front-End Developer to join our team and lead the design, development, and optimisation of high-performing Shopify stores. This is a hands-on role requiring deep expertise in Shopify theme customisation, app development, and front-end technologies, along with solid experience building WordPress sites using Elementor.

What you’ll do:

• Develop, manage, and customise Shopify themes to deliver seamless, responsive, and visually compelling user experiences.
• Build and enhance Shopify apps, integrating third-party APIs and custom features to meet business needs.
• Collaborate closely with design and marketing teams to implement new website features and improve conversion funnels.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise front-end code to ensure fast load times and cross-browser/device compatibility.
• Create and maintain WordPress websites using Elementor, ensuring consistent design and functionality across platforms.
• Provide technical leadership and recommend best practices for Shopify and WordPress development.
• Manage multiple projects independently, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience building and launching Shopify stores. Please provide examples or portfolio links.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and Liquid (Shopify’s templating language).
• Experience developing custom Shopify apps and integrating with external APIs.
• Solid background in front-end development with a focus on responsive design and performance optimisation.
• Skilled in WordPress site building and customisation using Elementor.
• Understanding of technical SEO best practices and ability to implement them.
• Problem solver who can work independently and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
• Experience in eCommerce environments preferred but not essential.

Bonus points for:

• Experience with Figma, Shopify Plus.
• Experience with premium Shopify theme.
• Knowledge of other eCommerce platforms or CMS.
