Action Nepal is seeking energetic, dynamic and result oriented candidates for the following position from Nepali citizens who are interested with the following positions.

Position 1: Senior Private Sector Officer

Required Number: One [1]

Minimum Qualification, Experience and required skills:

Qualification

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Agriculture Economics, Rural Development, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, or a related discipline.

Experience

  • For Bachelor Degree Holders: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in private sector engagement, enterprise development, livelihood promotion, market systems development, or value chain development. 
  • For Master Degree Holders: Minimum 2 years of professional experience in private sector engagement, enterprise development, livelihood promotion, market systems development, or value chain development. 
  • Experience working with NGOs, INGOs, development projects, or government programs is highly preferred. 
  • Proven experience in conducting business development training, facilitating market linkages, and supporting entrepreneurs.
  • Experience coordinating with financial institutions, municipalities, and private sector stakeholders.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Have knowledge and work experience of blended finance modality in SME development and livelihood work. 
  • Strong understanding of Micro and Small Enterprise (MSE) development.
  • Sound knowledge of business planning, entrepreneurship, financial inclusion, and market systems.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
  • Strong report writing and documentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze enterprise performance and provide technical coaching.
  • Good computer skills, including MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure

Position II: MSE Facilitator

Required Number: One [1]

Minimum Qualification, Experience and required skills:

Qualification

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Studies, Management, Economics, Agriculture, Rural Development, Social Sciences, Entrepreneurship, or other relevant disciplines. 

Experience

  • For Diploma holders: Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in enterprise development, livelihood programs, community mobilization, or economic development.
  • For Bachelor's degree holders: Minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience in enterprise development, livelihood programs, community mobilization, or economic development.
  • Previous experience working with NGOs, INGOs, financial institutions, or local governments will be considered an advantage.Experience working with NGOs, INGOs, financial sectors, or local governments is preferred.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Good understanding of entrepreneurship and enterprise development.
  • Strong community facilitation and interpersonal skills.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to collect, manage, and report field data accurately.
  • Good report writing and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work effectively in rural and remote communities.
