Duties and Responsibilities:
HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to support decision-making.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in employment legislation.
- Create, update and implement organization level HR polices.
- Prepare monthly payroll and reconcile it with finance team.
- Employee onboarding
- Managing exit procedure.
- Lead the recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring the organization attracts and retains top talent.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop effective hiring strategies.
- Conduct interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and make recommendations for hiring decisions
- Act as a point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and resolution.
- Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Mediate and resolve conflicts, promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Oversee the performance management process, providing guidance to managers and employees.
- Conduct performance reviews and assist in the development of performance improvement plans.
- Collaborate with management to identify and address training and development needs.
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, SSF, CIT plans, and other perks.
- Communicate benefits information to employees and assist with any related inquiries.
- Tax incentive research and Strategy
- Identify training needs and coordinate the development of training programs.
- Facilitate workshops or training sessions as needed to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Team Building/outing and office event management including planning and budgeting.
- Ensure compliance with Nepal's labor laws and regulations, updating policies as necessary.
- Advise management on legal and regulatory issues related to HR matters.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or business administration.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as an HR Officer with a focus on talent acquisition and employee relations.
- Strong Knowledge of HR functions (Compensation & Benefits, Recruitment, HR best practices, industry trends)
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Nepal Labor Law
- Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
- Familiarity with HRMS (e.g. RIGO)
