Senior/ Associate/Software Engineer/ Associate Software Engineer (.net)/ Database Administrator

1. SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Involve in Software development and maintenance activities.

• Provide first level of support for any Software related issues raised by team members.

• Able to mentor & monitor subordinates to enhance team efficiency.

• Proactively provide, design, develop and implement new ideas in the application for better user experience.

• Take ownership of projects for its timely delivery including (but not limited to) planning, estimation, development approach, assignment, reporting.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent.

• More than 4 years of related experience

• An expert in SQL Server T-SQL programming language, and be comfortable with large, stored procedures, triggers, and complex joins.

• Should have sound knowledge on PHP and JavaScript.

• Knowledge of DHTMLX framework will be added advantage.

• Preference will be given to those who have worked on large database and are familiar with database optimization.

• A multitasker and team player who has patience and ability to manage job pressure.

2. SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop solutions to improvise performance and scalability of systems.

• Involve in the designing, coding, and debugging of the software.

• Upgrade and maintain the existing software.

• Provide first level of support for any application related issues raised by team members.

• Guide & supervise juniors to improve team proficiency.

• Proactively deliver and implement new ideas in the application for better user experience.

• Take ownership of delegated tasks for its timely delivery.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 1.5 years of related experience with minimum of bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent. 

• Should have sound knowledge of PHP and JavaScript (including jQuery), MS SQL Server T-SQL programming language (large, stored procedures, triggers, complex joins).   

• Should be familiar with web services (SOAP, REST), API testing tools (SOAPUI, Postman, Fiddler) and code versioning systems (SVN, Git). 

• Solving problems skills and providing workable solutions 

• Knowledge of algorithms and data structures 

• Strong analytical and reasoning skills with an ability to visualize processes and outcomes. 

• Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and debugging a large codebase. 

• Outstanding all-round communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. 

• Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.

• Preference will be given to those who have worked on large database and are familiar with database optimization. 

3. ASSOCIATE SOFTWARE ENGINEER

 Duties and Responsibilities:

• Involve in the designing, coding, and debugging of the software. 

• Improve the performance of existing software. 

• Maintain and upgrade the existing software. 

• Take ownership of delegated tasks for its timely delivery. 

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent.

• Knowledge of .NET framework using C# or PHP and JavaScript (including jQuery). 

• Knowledge of MS SQL Server T-SQL programming language (stored procedures, triggers, joins).  

• Good command over Microsoft Office Applications Word, Excel, Power Point.

• Excellent verbal /written communication skills, Documentation skills for processes and procedures.

• A multitasker, and team player who has patience and ability to handle job pressure. 

4. DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Define and model data requirements.

• Create new and update existing databases as per the requirement.

• Monitor the database performance and troubleshoot if any kind of performance issue arises.

• Ensure Database backup, recovery & security.

• Provide support for any database related issues raised by team members. 

• Identify database framework gaps and design solution to fix the gaps and enhance the framework.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Should have at least a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent.

• 1+ years of experience in Database Administration and managing multiple MS SQL 2016 (or higher) RDBMS on large systems.

• Experience in Performance Tuning and Query Optimization.

• Knowledge of index management, integrity checks, statistics, configuration.

• Ability to detect and troubleshoot SQL Server related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space and other resource contention.

• Knowledge of backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, DBCC commands, Clustering, Database mirroring, Replication, Partitioning.

• Knowledge of SQL Server tools (Profiler, SSMS, PerfMon, DMVs, and system sprocs).

• SQL Development – ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Code and design.

• Documentation skills for processes and procedures. 

5. ASSOCIATE SOFTWARE ENGINEER (.NET)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Involve in the designing, coding, and debugging of the software.

• Improve the performance of existing software.

• Maintain and upgrade the existing software.

• Take ownership of projects and assigned tasks.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent.

• At least 1 year of work experience on real world projects

• Good knowledge of .NET Framework using C#.

• Proven record on working Win Form Desktop application.

• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Patterns and Principles.

• Skill for writing reusable C# libraries with readable code.

• Should have sound knowledge of MS SQL Server T-SQL programming language (large stored procedures, triggers, complex joins).

• Knowledge of Office COM Add-Ins, Windows Service Programming and Application Installer is a plus.

• Basic understanding of SQL CLR (Common Language Runtime).

• Familiarity with web services (SOAP, REST) and API testing tools (e.g. SOAPUI, Postman, Fiddler etc.).

• Familiarity with code versioning systems (e.g., SVN, Git etc.).

• Knowledge of web-based programming using PHP, JavaScript is a plus.

• Excellent verbal /written communication skills, Documentation skills for processes and procedures. 

• A multitasker, and team player who has patience and ability to handle job pressure.
