A development sector consulting firm based in Kathmandu is seeking qualified candidate to fill the role of RESEARCH MANAGER. The firm delivers technical and programmatic consultancy services to governmental, private, national and international organizations in Nepal. It delivers consultancy services in the areas of Education, WASH, Climate Change and Public Health.

The position is currently for one year with opportunity of renewal based on performance.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Proposal preparation
• Train enumerators on digital data collection tools
• Collect qualitative data from field undertaking Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and Key Informant Interview (KII)
  
• Data analysis in SPSS/STATA
• Report writing

Qualifications/Requirements

• At least 2 years’ relevant work experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office and SPSS/STATA required.
• Knowledge of digital data collection applications such as Kobo toolbox preferred
• Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills with a willingness to take initiative and be proactive.
• Strong interpersonal and team skills, with ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
• Strong writing and reporting skills.
• Self-starter, takes initiative, and is proactive in coordinating with project/client team, and strictly adhere to deadlines.
• Able to work effectively with high-performing team and highly accomplished professionals and experts and deliver on the tasks.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple competing priorities and to determine the order in which tasks should be prioritized.
• Able to travel any time to activity sites.
• Flexible, adaptive personality and able to work with multiple stakeholders
• Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills with a willingness to take initiative and be proactive.
• Fluent in Nepali and English both written and spoken.
