MinErgy Initiatives is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that was registered with District Administration Office and Affiliated with Social Welfare Council in 2011. It helps to Implement Corporate Social Responsibility projects covering public health, education, energy, environment and climate.

About the project

MinErgy Initiatives in partnership with Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) is implementing the project entitled “Empowering Municipal Elected Women members for Inclusive Municipal Energy Plan through capacity building in Bagmati Rural Municipality, Lalitpur”. The project aims to support Bagmati RM to develop and adopt low-carbon growth strategies for climate smart development and promote renewable energy systems. The 5-year Municipal Energy Plan (MEP) addresses the energy and energy-related gender issues and supports initiatives that put elected women at the forefront to lead energy projects, and there is no gender and class divide in energy access and use at the grassroots. The project also support implementation of one prioritized Renewable Energy (RE) sub-project as identified in MEP using emPOWER package.

In order to implement the RE sub-project, promotion of clean cooking solutions, tier 2 category to replace traditional cookstoves in targeted households within the RM has been identified and prioritized through MEP.

Request for quotation

MinErgy Initiatives invites signed quotations for the supply of 300 units of Natural draft portable clean cook stove in Bagmati Rural Municipality of Lalitpur district, Nepal.

Eligibility criteria

The firm must submit the following documents for minimum eligibility.

  1. Copy of company registration certificate
  2. Copy of PAN/VAT registration certificate
  3. Copy of recent Tax Clearance Certificate
  4. Valid Product Introductory Test (PIT) certificate from Renewable Energy Test Station (RETS) and complaint to NIBC, 2016
  5. Full picture of the cookstove and its parts (where applicable) and operation guideline
  6. Company profile with the relevant experiences

Quotation should be in the package that is inclusive of cost of transportation of stove in Bagmati Rural Municipality, Lalitpur District.

Interested applicants are requested to submit the signed quotations as per the specifications required along with other documents to The last date for submission of quotation is 15th December 2022, Thursday.
