Anticipated Award Type

Indefinite Quantity Subcontract (IQC) followed by awarding a Firm Fixed Price Task Order under the IQC.

The IQC provides for an indefinite quantity (within stated limits) of the same or similar supplies or services during a fixed period.  

An IQC does not commit or guarantee that USAID Karnali Water Activity will spend any amount under the IQC agreement. The ceiling, if any, is not the same as a subcontract ceiling.  

To provide a discrete service, USAID Karnali Water Activity will issue Task Order under the IQC with an obligation of fund within an established ceiling price in accordance with the terms and conditions contained within the established IQC. Task Orders issued hereunder the established IQC will be on the form of a Firm Fixed Price Task Order basis.

Basis for Award

An award will be made based on the Trade Off Method. The award will be issued to the responsible and reasonable offeror who provides the best value to DAI and its client using a combination of technical and cost/price factors.
