Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) for Financial Literacy and Business Plan Training

DEC Nepal has been implementing Empowering a New Generation of Adolescent Girls with Education (ENGAGE) Project in Khajura, Baijanath and KohalpurMunicipalities of Banke district for the inclusive education and empowerment of girls with disabilities, marginalized girls and boys with disabilities. ENGAGE has been funded by FCDO and led by VSO (Volunteer Service Overseas, Nepal). Handicap International (HI) has been leading the project in Banke and providing technical assistance.  

DEC Nepal has planned to hire a consultant to conduct financial literacy and business plan training for the primary actors who have chosen (363 adolescents girls) TVET in their pathway. The consultant will develop the training content with close collaboration with DEC Nepal and partners (HI and VSO) for the training. 

DEC Nepal is looking at Training facilitator (consultant) for 14 evets of 4 days training /(62 days total,(2 days preparation, 2 days reporting and 58 days)for training facilitation from 12th April, 2021. Interested, qualified and experienced firm or individual from same field are requested to submit application along with the following documents hardcopy or through email to the address and deadline mentioned below:

The Trainer (consultant) is expected to carry out following activities:

• Training design with contents and training delivery methods, share with DEC-N for review and inputs 
• Facilitate 4 days trainings for all the primary actors (363 PAs who are fresh graduates of NFE course/bridge class )
• Ensure high quality delivery of the training and make sure (during the training period) all the participants gained skills to develop their own individual business plan. 
• Produce a report on the completion of consultancy service with key findings and recommendations 

Interested Consultancy firms and professional personnel are required to submit the following: 

• Letter of interest 
• Personal CVs of professional personnel proposed for this project
• A brief concept note highlighting the methodological design including work plan. 
• Financial proposal indicating consultancy fee and a breakdown of expenses. 
• Copy of company registration certificate (not required for independent persons/ freelancers)
• Copy of PAN/VAT registration certificate
• Certificates
