About Prakriti Resources Centre (PRC)

Established in 2015, Prakriti Resources Centre (PRC) is a non-governmental organization committed to advancing climate justice, environmental sustainability, and resilient development. PRC actively bridges the gap between grassroots initiatives and policymaking, ensuring locally led adaptation and equitable climate solutions. With a strong foundation in research, policy advocacy, capacity building, and strategic collaboration, PRC works alongside government entities, civil society, the private sector, and international partners to address Nepal’s most pressing climate challenges. As PRC expands, it continuously refines its institutional policies, strategies, and partnerships to align with evolving national and global climate priorities. Through its existing Strategic Plan (2024–2028), PRC reaffirms its commitment to strengthening climate resilience, advocating for transparent climate financing, and empowering marginalized communities to shape Nepal’s climate future. More can be found at www.prc.org.np.

This position serves as the primary liaison among PRC, the project partner, CDAFN, two municipalities, the beneficiaries' communities, and other stakeholders. The position requires frequent field engagement, strong coordination skills, and applied knowledge of climate change, disaster and Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI).
