1. Program Officer (1 Position)

The Program Officer will play a key role in proposal development, project coordination, business development, and organizational management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit high-quality technical and financial proposals in response to consultancy opportunities and client requirements.
  • Track consultancy opportunities, procurement notices, Expressions of Interest (EOIs), and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from government agencies and development partners.
  • Coordinate project implementation and maintain updated records of ongoing assignments.
  • Update and manage the company's website and social media platforms.
  • Handle office administration, coordination, documentation, and basic financial tasks.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, partners, consultants, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Science, Forestry, Agriculture, Environment, Natural Resource Management, Development Studies, Management, Economics, Engineering, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in proposal writing, grant applications, procurement, or bid preparation with government or development organizations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Nepali.
  • Strong analytical, report-writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and meet deadlines.
  • Candidates based in Kathmandu Valley will be preferred.

2. Program Intern (Associate) (1 Position)

The Program Intern will work closely with the technical team and gain practical experience in consulting, research, proposal development, project management, and organizational operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing technical proposals, Expressions of Interest (EOIs), concept notes, and reports.
  • Support project implementation, documentation, data management, and report preparation.
  • Monitor consultancy opportunities, procurement notices, and funding calls.
  • Assist in maintaining project records and organizational databases.
  • Support website and social media content management.
  • Assist with office administration, logistics, and coordination activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree completed, or final-year student (Master's students are encouraged to apply), in Forestry, Agriculture, Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Development Studies, Management, Economics, Geography, Engineering, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in development consulting, research, and proposal writing.
  • Good command of English and Nepali, written and spoken.
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office; knowledge of GIS, Canva, website management, or statistical software will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Candidates based in Kathmandu Valley will be preferred.
  • Office time is 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM (Sunday to Friday).
