Details / requirements:
The post of the
Principal
of the Somang Academy is opened for recruitment. The School Management Committee invites applications for this position. Short listed candidates will be interviewed by the School Management Committee.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the authority of the School Management Committee the Principal shall:
• Take initiatives on scientific, strategic, policy issues, and fund-raising.
• Foster co-operation and communication with Teachers, students and Parents.
• Direct the staff and be responsible for the day-to-day work of the School, including the appointment of staff, management of resources.
• Act as a Member Secretary to the School Management Committee.
• Prepare an annual draft budget and accounts for presentation to and approval by the School Management Committee.
• Work with Rose Club Korea and Somang Club.
• Perform such other functions as may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• An advanced Master’s degree in the Science, Mathematics or English.
• Extensive professional experience in school management, planning activities, as well as in strategic, professional and policy questions.
• Demonstrated office management skills and experiences, including budget preparation, fund raising, staff relations, etc;
• Familiarity with the procedures/practices/ activities of relevant intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations.
• Proven high-level liaison and representation experience, and public speaking experience and skills.
• Excellent knowledge of English.
REMUNERATION:
The remuneration will be as per negotiation subject to qualifications, experiences and performances.
