Tergar School Kathmandu is seeking teachers for Primary, Lower Secondary, Physical Education, and Music Teachers. Under the supervision of the Tergar School Kathmandu Head of School and Principal, our teachers seek to implement our school philosophy, which weaves together Buddhist wisdom and contemporary approaches to learning. The primary responsibilities of our teachers include: developing a supportive classroom space conducive to learning and emotional well-being; developing and delivering lesson plans based on our core curriculum; and engaging with students in all ways necessary to ensure the best possible learning experience.

Vacancy

A. Primary Teacher – 3 :

·        Have an interest in teaching classes 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5

·        Have the capacity to teach all subject areas

·        Have completed a bachelor's degree in education or an applicable field

·        Have a minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in a reputable school

·        Have a desire to learn 

·        Be willing to participate in professional learning

·        Demonstrate initiative and confidence in the position

B. Kindergarten Teacher – 1 :

·        Have an interest in teaching UKG

·        Have the capacity to teach all subject areas

·        Have completed a bachelor's degree in education or an applicable field

·        Have a minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in a reputable school

·        Have a desire to learn 

·        Be willing to participate in professional learning

·        Demonstrate initiative and confidence in the position

C. Music Teacher – 1 :

·        Have an interest in teaching music

·        Play at least two instruments

·        Have the ability to teach music and incorporate traditional music and dance into learning

·        Have completed a bachelor's degree in education or an applicable field

·        Have a minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in a reputable school

·        Have a desire to learn 

·        Be willing to participate in professional learning

·        Demonstrate initiative and confidence in the position

D. Physical Education – 1 :

·        Have the ability to plan tasks, events, and other physical activity-related assignments for students

·        Be able to organize space and equipment for physical activities outside the classroom

·        To ensure providing an adequate amount of equipment so that every student can perform the task at the same time

·        Should conduct tests which include physical activities and giving marks on the basis of performance

·        Have completed a bachelor's degree in education or an applicable field

·        Have a minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in a reputable school

·        Have a desire to learn 

·        Be willing to participate in professional learning

·        Demonstrate initiative and confidence in the position
