The Organic Valley Private Limited (hereafter referred as ‘TOV’) was established in 2011 with aim of making significant difference in the field of organic agro production and trading. Its corporate office lies in Bakhundole, Lalitpur. TOV is a pioneer in promoting Organic Agriculture and food practices in Nepal. It has been the first of its kind to Trade Organic Products from Nepal to various countries in the World. TOV is involved in various projects as well as retail market since its inception. It has been continuously striving to obtain market in national and international arena for organic products.

Details / requirements:

Job Station: Kathmandu with 60% Field Visit

Salary Per Month : 40,000 - 50,000/- (Total cost to the Company)


Job Responsibilities:

  • Organize and provide direct support to Program Department and Organic Certification Department for the execution of planned activities
  • Provide technical guidance (written and verbal) to Program Department and Organic Certification Department for achieving the target.
  • Support Department heads for agribusinesses to meet program and certification/standards requirements to enhance business service among agriculture supply chain actors
  • Provide technical guidance/support to farmers in fields for organic farming and related activities.
  • Deliver Training to farmers and in-house field staff as per the requirement.
  • Shall be responsible for monitoring the farm activities of farmers
  • Provide support and guidance for the gathering of data and information needed to undertake effective monitoring and evaluation of all the production and postharvest support activities
  • Research on ongoing and new Farming Practices, Processing and agri-technical aspects and suggest the team.
  • Reporting and Data Collection as per the requirement.


Job Requirements:


  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture/Botany (Master’s Degree preferred).                                                                                                              
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in agriculture-based programs and activities

  • Knowledge and Experience on Organic Certification will be an asset.

  • Strong organization, communication, coordination and Reporting skills.

  • Willingness to work with Farmers in Field

  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Package.
