Job Title: Online Support Specialist (Remote)

Location: Remote (Nepal - Anywhere)
Employment Type: Long-term (full-time)
Reporting To: Product Manager

About the Role:
You will be the primary point of contact for schools using the Vidyapith software. Your responsibility is to respond to queries from schools, train school staff (via phone/remote calls), and ensure that they use Vidyapith effectively. Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and respond to queries (via phone, WhatsApp, Google Meet, Email) from schools using Vidyapith.

  • Provide training and guidance over the phone or via remote calls to school staff (administrators, teachers, parents as needed) on using various modules of Vidyapith (attendance, results, lesson plans, communication, fees etc.).

  • Document common support issues and solutions; escalate technical bugs or feature requests to the product/development team.

  • Proactively follow up with schools to ensure they are using the system appropriately and to identify training needs.

  • Maintain records of support calls/training sessions and track issues until resolution.

  • Collaborate with the product team to identify opportunities for improved user experience and training materials.

  • Possibly participate in preparing user-guides, FAQs or short training videos/call scripts for schools.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills (telephone, remote call environment).

  • Comfortable working remotely, self-motivated and able to manage own time.

  • Empathy and patience: able to explain software features to non-technical users (school staff, teachers).

  • Basic technical comfort: able to navigate software modules, step through issues, quickly learn new features.

  • Proficiency in Nepali (both spoken and written) and ideally English.

  • Previous experience in customer support, training, help-desk, or educational software would be a plus.

  • Reliable internet connection, good phone/remoting setup.

  • Ability to work flexible hours if needed (to support schools across different times).
