Yarsa Agro Research Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a full time microbiology lab assistant worker at the company’s agriculture research and production facility in Godawari, Lalitpur.

• This job would be a great fit for someone who is already involved in microbiology/biotechnology specifically in mushrooms spawn production.
• The position is demanding and challenging, but rewarding as the production team develops and grows the staffs and moves it forward.

Key responsibilities and duties 

• Be familiar with and work in accordance with the vision, mission, objectives, and program of the company. 
• Provide assistance in developing laboratory handling protocols.
• Help to plan, prepare and carry out mushroom spawn production.
• Assist Senior Lab personnel to prepare and develop different kinds of media for culture
• Perform trial of the produced product in the field.
• Collect different mushroom species from different regions for R & D purpose.
• Should be able to handle laboratory equipment such as laminar airflow, autoclave, etc. 
• Report data and compile information required for lab operation and safety.
• Monitor ongoing tests and experiments, make the notes of the progress.
• Interpret results based on findings.

Minimum Qualification 

Education:

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. Microbiology/ Biotechnology 

Work Experience:

• 1 year experience in the similar field would be preferable. However, fresh graduate having sound knowledge in the related field are highly encouraged to apply.

Skills and Competency:

• Ability to work in an organized and responsive manner.
• Able to work as per the laboratory schedules.
• Having two wheeler license would be an added advantage.
