Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of new machinery at our facility. You will work closely with both internal teams and external manufacturers' engineers to ensure that all machinery is installed correctly, operates efficiently, and meets the required safety and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation: Lead the installation of new machinery, ensuring compliance with all technical specifications, safety standards, and timelines.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues with machinery, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth operations.

• Maintenance: Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to reduce the likelihood of future issues.

• Collaboration: Liaise with engineers from machinery manufacturers to resolve complex issues, and ensure that all installations are carried out according to their guidelines.

• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.

• Training: Provide training and technical support to operations staff on the proper use and maintenance of machinery.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in machinery installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and machinery.

  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting.

  • Experience with reading and interpreting technical drawings and manuals.

• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills with a proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues.

• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both internal teams and external partners.

• Flexibility: Ability to work on-call or outside of regular business hours if needed to address urgent issues.
