Details / requirements:
We're looking for a PHP developer who has a good understanding of Magento, WordPress, CodeIgniter and MySQL to help us maintain and grow ecommerce & community site. The job requires quick turn-around on any customer service issues. We're a tight team of fun, driven young people working to make a new business succeed and shine.
Here's a quick overview of what you'll be up to:
Magento:
------------------
install magento in Dev and Production Server
modify an existing extension
write an extension when needed
fix customer issues
add/edit products (photos, prices, descriptions)
stop and start orders
run sales reports
intergrate with WordPress pages for merchandising
integrate with CodeIgniter for customized order fulfillment
CodeIgniter:
------------------
maintain custom fulfillment system
write new or adjust current PHP code
change or update databases
Sound knowledge in Matchbox/HMVC is highly preferable.
Knowledge of ORM is preferable.
WordPress:
------------------
modify/write plugins
post media hits to the press page
understanding of WordPress widgets
understanding of WordPress source code for architecture changes
Knowledge of Thematic Framework is plus.
other:
PHP skills - basic PHP skills required for making changes to website.
Knowledge of Webservice/APIs call would be a plus point.
Linux - comfortable working with cron...
Salary: Negotiable
