About the job:
Introduction:
Labour will work under the BGP (British Gurkhas Pokhara) QM (Quarter Master)’s department and will be responsible for cleanliness, unloading, loading freight/ goods. They should possess the right training, skills, and experience in loading and carrying goods safely. QM department provide manpower services to ensure that BGP can carry out its core functions in support of its mission and operations up to the British Standard.

This position is advertised at 40 hours per week.
Job description/Responsibilities:
- General Cleanliness of BGP Camp areas, offices, and ablutions.
- Support British Gurkhas Pokhara and its departments on various tasks and operations manager during SFAs March In/Out preparation tasks.
- Provide support for loading and unloading the ISO containers and Trucks.
- Assist Clothing and General Storeman on day-to-day basis as ordered by the Line Manager.
- Exchange of Accommodation stores to/from married quarters.
- Responsible for cleanliness of (SLAs, Transit) Block and associated areas.
- Carryout any other duties as directed by Operations Manager.
- Assist the Ops Manager during major functions and recruiting periods.
- Responsible for general cleanliness of BGP camp.

Work Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in related field. (eg. Porter)
Qualification:
- Academic – Secondary Education (SLC/SEE)
- Technical – Proven experience, qualifications, and training is preferable for the role to deliver the job responsibility effectively and efficiently.
- English – Good Written and Spoken
- Nepali – Good Written and Spoken
You will be assessed on your English language skills and Physical fitness test to qualify for interviews during the sifting and selection process.

- Salary 47,885.00 NPR per month (Permanent).
