Junior IT Officer

Center for Dalit Women Nepal (CDWN) is a national non-governmental organization, established in 2016 AD. CDWN has been undertaking the interventions that focus on Dalit and marginalized women’s participation in the democratic process aiming to empower them and influence the state and non-state actors to hold them accountable for the social, economic and political rights of Dalits, women and marginalized groups. Besides leadership development, CDWN actively fights against all forms of discrimination and violence based on caste and gender. 

CDWN is seeking a motivated, dedicated, competent and result-oriented candidate for the position of a Junior IT Officer to manage the website of CDWN as a full time employee based at Kathmandu office. This position will be under the direct supervision of Executive director. 

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and manage the website of organization in a daily basis by posting the regular news, photos of activities organized by the CDWN.  
• Coordinate with central and district staff to post the communication and knowledge materials. 
• Design Banners, flyers, and other official documents of the organization as per necessary.
• Manage social media page such as Facebook, Instagram, Youtube of CDWN. 
• Support staff to solve the IT related problems. 

Qualification and Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Information and Communication Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other equivalent subjects. 
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in web-design and management of non- government organizations.
• Knowledge of computer based software's and technology. 
• Knowledge and experience in content editing, posting in website and social media. 
• Knowledge of CANVA and other graphic designing software would be an excellent asset.
