Junior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The role involves assisting with day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily financial transactions and update ledgers
• Assist in accounts payable and receivable functions
• Perform bank and cash reconciliations
• Process employee expense claims and petty cash management
• Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Support tax-related filings (VAT, TDS, etc.)
• Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, and vouchers
• Assist during internal and external audits
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial data accuracy
• Conduct field visits to verify expense claims, collect bills, support inventory audits, and coordinate with branch/site personnel

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or running in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 0–2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and standards
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
