Senior Quality Assurance Officer

We are looking for Sr QA officer, who will lead the QA team in Asia and will be communicating frequently with the project leaders and clients in The Netherlands. He/she will oversee the quality assurance department and will be managing a team of junior testers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design test plans, write test cases and manual execution for functional and non-functional tests
• Automate test cases for web and mobile applications (Selenium Webdriver using JavaScript)
• Regression test of web APIs (SoapUI and LoadUI)
• Preparation and maintenance of test environment (integration with Jenkins)
• Work closely with developers and product managers for developing test cases
• Defect reporting, documentation, priority assignment and tracking
• Use test metrics to report quality

DESIRED SKILL SET:

• Knowledge of software testing life cycle and types of software testing
• Experience in test case design, writing test cases and execution
• Experience in automation tools, preferably Selenium (preferred with Java or .net programming skills for developing test automation tools)
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript and webservices
• Ability to analyze requirements and produce relevant test cases
• Ability to communicate and engage development team to resolve bugs
• Understanding of test metrics e.g like bug-to-defect ratio, slippage ratio etc
