We provide advanced video analytics based on AI capabilities powered by computer vision, automated speech recognition, and textual semantic classifiers. What You'll Do
The iOS Team at BerryBytes has one of the most fun and challenging projects in tech today. For one we are a humble team of iOS and real-time audio/video snobs and obsess about all things iOS and media. We take immense pride in delivering an unparalleled high-quality AL/ML application and highly responsive and "live the moment" experience and push the limit of what you can do on a mobile device.
- Working in a small team that is building a game-changing product.
- Be a part of the team that takes BerryBytes from its first few users to the first million or hundreds of millions of users.
- Extend and optimize our custom media stack for mobile on iOS.
- Work on our low latency media server engine which is the foundation of our media platform.
- Work on performance analysis, metrics collection and data analytics.
- Provide detailed and constructive design and code reviews.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related area
- Experience with C++ with excellent programming and code understanding skills
- Experience with mobile app development with at least one the following: iOS/Objective C.
- Proactive communication, strong problem-solving skills, and a great team player
Preferred Experience:
- 5+ years of experience developing iOS applications
- Experience with UIKit and the iOS SDK
- Experience developing multi-threaded, asynchronous code using GCD and NSOperation
- Strong API design knowledge Deep understanding of Xcode
- Experience with one or more of the following:
- OpenGL ES / Metal Experience
- Experience with video, image processing, and Core Audio
- Push notification frameworks and CallKit
- OAuth, JWT
- A/V codecs, multimedia streaming, WebRTC
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
