Associate Data Analyst

TITLE: Associate Data Analyst

REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent communication skills in English and Nepali.
• 1+ year(s) of experience in relevant field is preferred.
• Experience with data entry and data research, strong Microsoft Excel skills, SQL or query-based knowledge is preferred. Python and programming skills are desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Use Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Amazon Reporting tools to gain additional insight into a client’s e-commerce business and define areas of opportunity and conduct market research and collaborate with team members to stay up-to-date on search engine marketing (SEM) trends, Amazon trends, and industry changes.
• Collaborate with engineering and business team to understand data and reporting needs, discuss the technical feasibility of the reporting needs, and to formulate data delivery plans and timelines.
• Develop different types of reports (table, charts, graphs) using BI tools and perform quality checks of reports to ensure quality delivery.
• Provide database support and write SQL queries, and create reports in collaboration with other systems engineers and software developers.
• Develop and implement data collection systems and automation strategies that optimize efficiency and data quality.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Data cleansing and data quality check – review reports and performance indicators to identify and correct issues or code where necessary.
• Complete assigned projects and initiatives in a timely and efficient manner.
• Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs and provide input to improve process.
• Deliver to and communicate with clients effectively, regularly, and professionally.
• Communicate proactively and effectively with team members, team leads, management, and clients.
• Assist in creating a friendly, entrepreneurial and A+ corporate culture in Nepal

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science, or related.

EXPERIENCE: Prior one- year experience in a relevant field is preferred and desirable.
