Agro-Farm Manager
Mid-west Academy and Research Institute (MARI) has been established in Tulsipur, Dang, Nepal with a mission of producing competent human resources able to catalyze the overall process of sustainable development, and in particular the process of agricultural development as well as the promotion of agro-based industries and marketing. Mid-West Academy and Research Institute is a service-oriented private academic institution. It has Midwest Academy and Research Institute, Campus of Life Science (MARI CoLs), Tulsipur, Dang, Nepal which is conducting Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (B.Sc Ag) program quality management and quality results; affiliated to Tribhuvan University, Institute of Agriculture and Animal Sciences (IAAS) under the management of Mid-west Academy and Research Institute (MARI), Phulbari, Dang. It has a plan to conduct other academic courses under the academic wing and has a plan to upscale the agriculture farms.
Details / requirements:
This is the residential position required for overall management of agriculture farms and technical support in farming. He/she will be responsible for each and every works to run existing farming and establish new farms, marketing, mobilizing other technical staffs & workers, maintaining assets and product records, contribute as an agriculture technician and other assignments as assigned. Interested candidates with agriculture education having good experience field level technical knowledge and capacity to manage the agriculture farms independently to implement the MARI executive board decision are encouraged to apply for this position. Salary and benefits are negotiable, depends on qualification and experience on this sectors. Preference will be given to the candidates who are familiar and experienced in modern agricultural technologies/has worked experience in farming from foreign countries. Candidate who is not willing to reside in the duty station Phulbari, Tulsipur, Dang are strongly discouraged to apply.
