Details / requirements:

Level: Entry

Your key areas of responsibilities as an Accounts Support are:

  • Ensure every transaction are recorded in accounting software (Tally and Xero) and filed properly
  • Maintain Nepal office’s asset register and purchase register to adhere to Nepali accounting standards
  • Calculate and process salary payments for Nepal and Australia and process payslips
  • File and pay taxes for Nepal office
  • Assist and ensure bank accounts, retirement fund accounts and PAN are registered for new employees
  • Maintain Nepal office’s asset register and purchase register to adhere to Nepali accounting standards
  • Carry out tasks to ensure that the company is in compliance with Nepal’s financial regulations and standards
  • Monitor expenses to ensure they are within approved budget
  • Assist in preparation of periodic financial reports for Australia and Nepal
  • Maintain proper accounting records as per regulations for Nepal and Australia

Major skills and qualifications required to meet position objectives:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in the accounts field
  • Experience in accounting software like Tally and Xero
  • Experience with Gmail & Google Apps (Drive, Docs & Sheets)
  • Strong ethics and integrity
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English
  • Knowledge of acceptable Nepal accounting standards and auditing practices

Work hours: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm including 1-hour lunch break.
