PHASE Nepal is a not for profit NGO established in 2006 by a group of development professionals dedicated to supporting poor communities in remote areas of Nepal. For the last 12 years, PHASE Nepal has been implementing Health, Education, and Livelihoods improvement programs in Humla, Bajura, Mugu, Gorkha, Kathmandu, and Sindhupalchok districts. Currently, PHASE Nepal's projects on health, education, livelihoods, DRR, and research are funded by the number of institutional and individual donors from different countries. PHASE has over 140 staff working on different projects.

PHASE Nepal is currently looking for suitable candidates for the following positions:

1. Position: Accountant – Few

Duty Station: Kathmandu

Qualification and Experiences: Should have completed Bachelor's degree in Management with minimum 2 years of substantial experience in NGO/INGOs. Should be able to communicate effectively in spoken and written English and Nepali language. S/he must have excellent computer knowledge (Office packages). Candidates having knowledge of accounting software FAMAS will be given high preference. Should possess two wheeler license. 

Job Description: The Accountant will report to the Finance Manager and Account Officer and will be responsible mainly handling the cash and for recording and reporting financial transaction with ensuring financial compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements. Familiar with Cash Transfer Programming (CTP).Monitoring and managing daily banking Transactions and accounting activities for an efficient and timely release of financial reports. Should be willing to travel frequently in the project area.

Salary:  NPR. 30,000 – 35,000 /- per month

2. Position:  Health Assistant and Staff Nurse - Few

 Duty Station: PHASE Project districts.

QUALIFICATION and EXPERIENCE: Should have completed Health Assistant or PCL Staff Nursing Degree with minimum 2 years of work experience in clinical setting, seeing patients, providing nursing care, providing safer motherhood cares, delivery services, newborn care, HMIS recording, reporting and documentation. Candidates, who have worked with the government hospitals, PHC or health posts, have received SBA training and having good computer skill will be given priority.

Responsibilities: The Health Assistant and Staff Nurse will work together with the government health workers in the respective health posts or health clinics. This will involve both curative as well as preventive health services. They will provide health education sessions to the beneficiaries of the catchment area of the health post/clinic.

Salary:  NPR. 30,000- 35000 /- per month 

3.  Logistics Assistant

Duty Station: Kathmandu

Duration: 3 months (No possibility of extension)

Qualification and Experiences: Should have completed Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any stream with at least 2 years of working experience in similar position. Proficient in computer skill with good command of written and spoken English and Nepali language. Should be flexible to accomplish multi-task as directed by the organization. Should possess two-wheeler license.

Salary: 25,000- 30,000 /- month 

4. Position:  ANM - Few

Duration: Fixed Term

Duty Station:  PHASE Project Districts

Qualification and Experience: At least ANM passed with 2 years' working experience in community health programs. (Candidates who have worked independently in government sub-health-posts or independently running sub-health post are given high priority.) 

Salary: NPR. 20,000- 30,000 /- per month

3. Intern (Logistics Support)

Duty Station: Kathmandu

Duration: 3 months (Possibility of extension)

Qualification and Experiences: Should have completed Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any stream. General computer skill with good command of written and spoken English and Nepali language. Should be flexible to accomplish multi-task as directed by the organization. Should possess two-wheeler license.

Salary: 13,500/- per month
